Hi everybody. I’m Mike Nelson. We have a Denver 7, weather action day in effect for a storm moving into our state that will mostly drop its moisture in the mountains, just a little bit for Denver and across the plains low-pressure area. Coming our way from Southern Idaho. It’s going to race through the state over the next 36 hours. And that’s the key. It’s going to come by too fast to really give us much moisture on the Eastern Plains, but the mountains, oughta intercept, a good chunk of this storm and get a foot or two of snow. So, by morning, snow showers in the mountains, mostly cloudy on the

Planes Mountain, forecast heading up there. It’s going to get snowy and that’s no, get especially heavy later. In the day, Thursday, through Thursday night. So roads will be slick, but it should really improve. The moisture conditions in the ski conditions up there. So here is the low temperature forecast by morning, pretty mild lower elevations, and even in the mountains, mostly in the 20s, then a big contrast in temperature coming up during the day Thursday, from 60s over Southeastern, Colorado 50s, North East, 30s and 40s, mountains and West. So here’s the map.

On Thursday storm coming through heavy Mountain snow might get a brief little shot of snow early Friday for Denver mostly western and southern portions the Metro, but I think perhaps enough at least a tenth of an inch expected at DIA to make it our first measurable snow that moves out Friday, afternoon windy and colder, snow showers in the mountains. Saturday is dry and cool and then milder weather will return as early as Sunday into early next week. Here is your seven-day forecast then

We mostly cloudy Thursday mountains, get snow snow early Friday. Not much for the Metro. But that heavy snow continues in the mountain. Certainly colder, Saturday morning fifteen in the morning, 43 in the afternoon, 58 on Sunday. And by Monday up to 62 degrees.
