Worst experience ever – filled with bugs, terrible support This is such a poorly made plugin. It is filled with incorrect English, which makes the site look unprofessional, and their only solution is to add yet another plugin, loco translate, to fix ridiculous errors.
It conflicts with multiple themes and is missing the most basic of functionality – like being able to log back in as a student. I wasted three days trying to fix the issues, and every time I fixed one, 5 more popped up.
Then, try looking at the support forums on the ThimPress site. What a joke! There is no search function, and you cannot see the replies to any of the posts, whether or not you are logged in. Not really a forum if you can’t even see any responses.
Also, they refused to refund my money for an add on plugin that is absolutely useless without Learnpress.
I recommend looking ANYWHERE other than this plugin.
Great free LMS for Offering Online Courses Have been using it for almost a year now. Installation was simple. Finding it quite user-friendly and easy to work with. Convenient interface to create courses, lessons, quizzes etc. Highly recommended!
Much needed plugin but does not play well with Polylang I’m really grateful for this plugin! I think it’s quite easy to use and the default layout is well done.
However, I find that a lot of stuff needs tweaking, especially the CSS.
Some standard features, as I would call it, are not available. For example, I created an LP site that is not public. People receive an invitation and therefore I want to redirect them first to the login page and not have courses show up on the homepage to people who are not logged in. I had to write a function to make this work. It could be a worthwhile option to add, I guess it’s something that a lot of people would want.
I also find that there are too many course options, some of them similar, and I sometimes find all these settings a bit fussy. It would be great if one could define those settings for the course evaluation etc. only once – and then only tweak them on a course by course basis if necessary.
Another thing that’s a bit sad is that if you want to use the Polylang plugin with LearnPress, lots of things work, but an awful other lot of things will require that you have good coding skills.

Not usable right out of the box I would have given this a much higher rating in the past. But now, the new plug in requires a lot, I mean LOT of work on the back end. Unless you plan on buying their extremely limited capability themes, this plug in does not play well with many other themes out there unless you are planning to put in a lot of work coding your own CSS and PHP.
Their support is ok, but I often get “What you requested can’t be done” or in my most recent experience their support team claimed they could not access my site, when the screenshot they sent me clearly showed their browser was not configured correctly for WP. If their support can’t figure out how to use the browser correctly, I have very little hope they can fix a problem their plugin is causing.
I often have to go in and code things myself to get templates to work as they were originally described.
