Support Means You Fix It, Not Them I recommend you avoid Yoast. It is broken, and they will ask you to fix it. It drops support. It blocks Google search. And according to Yoast, everything is either your fault or your responsibility to fix. Perhaps after the program matures, it will be worthwhile. I asked for a prorated refund, and, instead, they just canceled the subscription and said they offered no prorated refunds. I explained they my cancellation was based on receiving a prorated refund, so they should reinstate my subscription. However, they failed to act and ignored meâgood luck dealing with them.
Donât Commit to Premium I had Yoast Premium (paid. Licensed) running on multiple sites and a conflict with another plug-in created a massive error (log) file that took down my entire hosting platform – multiple times – and was 100 percent attributed to the Yoast plug-in. ..we are talking 100 gig log files that built up in a week. Repeatedly. Contacted yoast multiple times and they dragged their feet for weeks pretending to diagnose when my hosting company gave me the log files and the error
Messages – should have been easy to make progress in troubleshooting but days would go by. Eventually I had to remove all instances of yoast premium on all my sites and ask for a refund because they didnât seem to want to be bothered helping me troubleshoot in a timely fashion. So warning – check those error logs. You might be surprised to see a storage vampire. Were it one site it could be chalked up to a bug but it happened on multiple sites running Yoast premium. Stick to free. I moved to Rank Math. I guess #1 SEO plug-in means it doesnât matter if it doesnât work as long as they get paid. I did receive a pro rated refund for time not used which had zero impact because I had to delete everything. Donât do it. Look elsewhere or stick to free.

Simple Thanks
Poor and Lazy Support Yoast’s staff refused to provide any assistance with my issue with their plugin. It has a glitch, and they are refusing to solve the issue. They are wrongfully pointing the finger at me because they are lazy. I have two websites with the same honest and plugins. One website is experiencing the glitch from Yoast and the other website is not having the issue. It is clearly a problem with Yoast.
I will never use their plugins again. I highly recommend everyone to avoid Yoast due to their unprofessionalism.
Annoying notifications, aggressive marketing, output = NULL No other plugins has sent me this number of notifications as I have received in the last few days from Yoast.
You shouldn’t be ALLOWED to do that with our sites. It is aggressive, unwanted, repeating interference with my site.
Since when WordPress allows that kind of agressive marketing ON OUR SITES for some plugin?

New Update Problems Kindly exercise some patience…there does seem to be an error with this update for some. it seems to be breaking up some sites. Kindly install the previous version back on your site if you are experiencing any problems.
1. Go to the downloads section at wordpress.org
2. Go to the Yoast download page ( where the plugin is located) at the right-hand section of the page click ADVANCED VIEW.
3. Scroll down the page which opens, you will see an option to download previous Yoast plugin versions including 17.1… No need for rude language.
