no shoes me it is automatically ran with the same payment method that I used for the first payment due maybe a time with my card is expired I’ll just have to get a notification that the file to my third and fourth payment can run and then the shop owner got another sale because he was able to do a plan and also captured without a father in the customer’s the times you have a recurring payment. WARNING: Don’t Use For Digital Goods I was under the mistaken impression that this would work like PayPal and that digital purchases would have some protection through the dispute process. This is not the case. There is no seller protection on any purchases at all.
I received several chargebacks for digital goods + a $15 chargeback fee for every single one. This is a great way to get scammed by fraudulent customers and end up owing more than you earned in fees.
I’d like to warn others: I would not recommend this for digital goods.
I will never use woocommerce payments again.
Great potential but should still be considered beta We love the idea of this integration but still experienced quite a few duplicate orders and customers having issues completing checkout without much of an error to tell us what is wrong. We also had problems issuing refunds to customers, having to send them payments directly through Paypal instead. It also messed up the analytics in Woocommerce. I will check back in a few months because I have high hopes for this.
Better than the rest I chose WooCommerce Payments over all the others, and I’ve tried a bunch. I’ve never had any issues. The rates are very nice. Once they make a Point of Sale solution, I’ll use it in our gift shop as well!
Awesome plugin!
Total waste of space Broke my site. Took me 4hours and several chat sessions with my hosting company to realise if I didn’t enable/install Woocomeerce Payments my site works absolutely fine. Had to reinstall WordPress quite a few times before we realised this plugin was the culprit. Somehow it changes random settings in the background and stops me connecting to my database. Only got my hosting company involved as the errors said they were database connection related. Have installed and enabled every plugin I had prior to downloading this one and everything now works fine. Will be sticking to PayPal from now on.
PLS help me! I can’t see “Deposits” or “Transactions at all because it keeps saying I have to finish setup, but when I click on Finish Setup it just takes me back to the “Overview” page. I finished my setup a long time ago.
WooCommerce Version 5.5.2
WooCommerce Payments Version 2.7.0
No issues I have found WooCommerce payments to work just fine, the ability to pay by Google Pay and Apple Pay makes it easy for customers. Card payments are straightforward and the fees are significantly cheaper than PayPal.
Keeps asking to “finish setup” I can’t see “Deposits” or “Transactions at all because it keeps saying I have to finish setup, but when I click on Finish Setup it just takes me back to the “Overview” page. I finished my setup a long time ago, what gives?
Processes well, but nearly 0 reporting capabilities As of October 21, this payment option seems really early to release this product.
I can’t get a monthly statement using Woocommerce Payments. In order to see last month’s total transactions, returns, and deposits, I would have to download download 100 transactions at a time to excel (because this is the limit to download), then combine them in a spreadsheet, then sum the totals.
Not ready for primetime yet.
The strange part is, this platform is based on Stripe which has all the information already – but there is no way to login to the Stripe dashboard to retrieve it.
Fantastic! Woocommerce payments were such a breeze from installing to doing a test purchase, everything worked like a dream as i have been struggling with paypal’s nightmare. So i was stunned at Woo’s simplicity and it looks great on my site. I cant ask for more 5/5!
Not Working Was working with issues. Page had to be updated to get card entry box to appear. No reply to Help request. Now its says the plugin is activate and it no longer appears as a payment option
