welcome to Z index in this tutorial I will show how to remove WordPress footer Credit in WordPress
we will remove this photo credit and add our own text here
we will use remove but our credit WordPress plugins to remove footer credit
install and activate the plugins
go to settings option of this plug-in from tool section
we need to collect the HTML code keep the mouse pointer just above the Federal Credit text in right click your mouth then click on inspect element
again right click the mouse and select edit is HTML copy the code and paste on the plugins page
then add your own photo credit text and save it
if you reload the page you will notice the updated photo credit

Easier than others… This is a cool plugin, and a lot more simple than many other ways to change the footer copyright, which I was so glad of. I think I messed up some page code while working with it though, and it temporarily messed up my page layout. It’s better now, though I still don’t know how it fixed. 😛 But, I ended up using a different plugin to change my footer copyright, that was even simpler and more straightforward than this. This was the next best though!
Improved Unfortunately it doesn’t work with the latest Lightning theme update. I am hoping for a plugin update that fixes the issue. Good job 🙂

I doesn’t remove translation Hello,
it worked to remove what I wanted from my footer in the default language of my web, but I have a translation made with TranslatePress, so when I switch to the other language the footer appears again.
How can I remove it too in the translation?

Works with HTML code, great support It didn’t work out as easily as I had expected. Some theme providers do everything to prevent you from deleting their credits. With some quick and competent support, and some careful copy/paste experiments, it finally worked.
Just deleting the footer text would have been much easier by adding a little piece of code in the customizer/footer section. But since I also wanted to add something new to the footer, this worked perfectly for me.
Did not work (2021) Followed the instructions; however the plugin did nothing to the footer

Seems to Do Nothing It seems to work, but not as intuitive as it should be. You need to copy the code that makes up the footer porting you wish to move and paste that into the box. Wish there as a way to simply way to remove it.
