all right my pick of the week this week is a WordPress plugin is called relevancy anybody that works with WordPress no set relevante relevancy doesn’t necessarily have the greatest search you try to search on the web site and this is something that came up with Chase on get gamer weekly just the other day where she was trying to search his own website couldn’t find what you wanted because we’re press searches just that bad robots he is a free plugin for WordPress that makes her so much better like you can instantly see the difference when you install this plug in and set it up it’s that good it’s it’s got a lot of cool features you install it you have to set up the index which is basically the only thing you really have to do is set up the index takes a couple of minutes once it has all your information in there and then it’ll read through your comments you can search the converse you can search your short short code content which it doesn’t do in right now so I nice or short code content if you have doesn’t show up it’s actually sort
salt by relevance rather than date so it in that part right there is what really makes it even more useful the fact that you can see whatever you’re searching for by relevance so if you’re searching for like oatmeal cookies yellow actually get post that say oatmeal cookies rather than just any post by date that use the word hooky or oatmeal but you’re looking for oatmeal cookie Russell dues fuzzy matching or partial word matching was really great so if you had to part of the word we’re not all the words match which is really great it’s such a good plugin if you want to make your WordPress search definitely better this is a great plug-in do it it’s one of the best that’s out there in fact I think it’s the best search plug-in out there for WordPress is called relevancy they also have a premium version that has a whole bunch of advanced features with some pretty cool stuff you want to do that you had to pay a little bit more money but it does stuff like improve spelling correction what you see on Google all the time

Great plugin with awesome support Mikko created a custom solution for my legal blog which allows users to search for court reference numbers. Works like a charm. Great response times, really good stuff!

Happy I switched to Relevanssi Search We struggled with finding a decent site-search. The one we used, Ivory Search, was good but updates too often required repairs.
We switched to Relevanssi, and noticed an improvement in the quality of the serp it produces, and it has highlighting of search terms in snippets even on the free version.
When I came across a compatability bug (one particuar page wasn’t showing in the serp) Mikko, the Developer, helped me hunt down the cause, (via the plugin support forum) and add a line of code to our Theme’s functions.php file that fixed the glitch.
Very impressed, I think you will be too. 🙂
The Relevanssi of Mikko Saari! I happened to contact Mikko Saari, the creator of Relevanssi, without having even known the plugin or its creator, let alone installing it. Still, he took care to reply with his brilliance to explain why I was facing a google indexing issue for my site.
