like that followed by a key and value to create day. Then get followed by a key to read data historically read it has been described as a key value store it is often used as a cash to make relational databases faster at scale but here’s where your mind is about to be blown read it is perfectly suitable as a primary database and can dramatically reduce complexity because making things go fast its tail is the primary cause of complexity in the first place with redice your database is already passed no need for a complex cashing layer but you might be wondering how do I model complex relationships today right it’s is what you would call a multi-modal database supporting a variety of different database paradigms with a Don modules that you can opt into as needed if your data contains relationships bring and read its graph and quiri it was Cipher or use the chase on module 2 structures your data as a hierarchy just like a document oriented database then use the search module to turn your database into a full text search engine and it even has modules for AI workloads time-series data and more
the quickest way to get started is the free tier on Reddit Enterprise Cloud that’ll give you a free database to play around with and you can attach one extra module to it then you can connect to it with the redis-cli or with the red is inside tool which contains an interactive dashboard to manager day. This is been read us and 100 seconds but what do you guys think would you use Reddit as your primary database let me know why or why not in the comments thanks for watching and I will see you in the next one
Great performance great support I think the title says it all. Quick support from Till always great when a free plugin is supported. Guess I would go for the Pro-Version but pricing is a bit out of our budget.
Works great but pauses newly created newsletter campaigns Hi Till,
thanks for the plugin!
Works great, and I just want to report 2 issues:
1. When the plugin is activated on the multisite, and I deactivate it, especially when I deactivate all my plugins at once, inclusively the Redis plugin, it causes a fatal error and the site cannot be reached anymore, inclusively the backend.
At deactivation it always causes the white screen with the fatal error and I must rename my “plugins” folder to regain access.
2. It causes my newly created newsletter campaigns (Mailster plugin) to pause right after they are published, and they will be paused forever unless I flush the Redis cache.
But starting/stopping Redis does not affect campaigns that are already active.
Is there by any chance a fix for this issue?
Thanks,
best regards!
Terrible! Absotutely terrible including the support! Adoid using the plugin if you want your website work prooerly. There are other plugins which are okay for redis technology, not this one.

ROC Rocks! A powerful plugin with server cache that has brought my project to the next level. Looking forward to moving onto Pro later in the year.
Thanks Till!
DO NOT Install on Plesk with multiple sites! Do not install on Plesk.
If you do and you switch it on on multiple sites – it will screw up your sites: the sites will point to the first site you installed the plugin on.
E.g. if you have 3 sites:
-Site A – I installed the plugin here first
-Site B – then here
-Site C – then here
Then when I switched on the plugin on all 3 sites – Plesk started to mix up the 3 sites.
When I wanted to manage Site B or C -> it always redirected me to site A.
I do not know how to recover from this problem…but it truly hurts.
I had zero (no) problems with my sites before – all are extremely well managed, fully protected, virus protected etc. sites.
really good documentation in github thanks for your easy to use and config plugin.
the documentation in github really helped me config the plugin and redis cache
hope you continue to support and extend this.
Very easy to configure Love the ease of use of this plugin. Kudos
Excellent for large websites I am using litespeed and now in combination with redis to cache the large databases on particular big wordpress sites. Significant change in time to first byte. You need a server with redis obvious and a license on litespeed. But both do their magic on hardware/server level and not traditional from within wordpress.
