with that done test your site again there’s no need to clear the cache because that’s automatically done for you still want to open your site in a private or Incognito browser window so that you can view with the site will look like to your visitors who aren’t logged in if the problem is resolved you can turn the options back on one by one and test again each time to determine which option has caused the problem if the problem is related to file optimization like Minna find CSS or JavaScript files follow the steps in our guide to find any problematic files to exclude if the problem is related to Lazy loading media you can disable lazyload for individual Pages as described in our guy
sometimes the issue only occurs on one single page in this example the contact page if that’s the case instead of disabling an option for the entire site you can disable the option directly in the wp rocket options metal box for that page optimization might lower the performance score for this page but he usually has minimal impact on its loading time if you want to explore this further be sure to check out our other video on finding the right file to exclude from minification or combination thanks for watching
Uninstalling plugin I uninstalled the plugin because it would not work with Ajax on my default archive page, which was essential.
After deactivating and even uninstalling, however, I have a number of images not loading, either Admin Media area or on the display. When I open up the HTML, all the tags still have a loading=”lazy” attribute. I can’t find any correlation to which images do load and which don’t. I have already cleared out my server cache.
Any other advice?
Didn’t speed up my site Had no effect on Google Page Speed scores whatsoever. I’ve found that the Lazy Load for Videos plugin is better.
noticeable decrease in script size and speed Before using this plugin my landing page was ranking poorly in PageSpeed Insights by Google.
After using this plugin it went from 24% to 57% on mobile, and from 73% to 95% on desktop.
Script size went from 1.6 Mb to 330.6 kb.
How can I modify the appearance of the images that replace Youtube Videos? On a page, when I have 3 regular videos listed in a side bar, the spacing is easy to do and the videos/iframes are well-delineated.
But when I turn on Lazy Load “Replace Youtube videos by thumbnail”, there is a change in size with more black above and below the video image. And the videos now all run together without any margins.
I’ve tried adding CSS but it seems to be invisible to the site and does not show up. Does anyone have any ideas on why this happens and how to perhaps reduce or avoid this effect after conversion to image?
div.wpb_video_widget{ margin-bottom: 30px !important; }
I love this plugin and if I have to, will just live with it but obviously, a good solution is always welcome!
It breaks the layout for a mil sec on load works well but it will make a flicker on first load which causes breaking the layout.
