WordPress bundle Hide Page And Post Title

hello and welcome to the blue picclicks YouTube channel in this video we’re going to show you the two different ways you can use to remove page that doesn’t work with the first way is to simply not add a title when creating a new page or remove it from an existing one hover over pages so if you want to create a new page without a title click on add new enter an accountant you went into the page will use lorem ipsum and then when you save the page will use the preview to see it then quick video and you can see it doesn’t have a title if you want to do this on an existing page you need to go back to all pages find the page you wants to change

future delete the title and will click on the preview back in to see the changes as you can see it doesn’t have a title anymore the second method for removing page titles in your purse is a bit more involved because it requires the use of CSS so when you find the page want to remove the title from navigate to it will use your home page again and you need to find the pages ID number the best way to find it is to edit the page like we are everything your home page now and in the link to the page find the number that says post equals 38 in our case so this is our paid id38 you’ll also need the glass of the deadly want to remove so it’s a bit more complicated to find that so first we’ll bring back the title on our home page

the computer changes you need to select the title right click on it and then click on it inspect you see the title class highlighted enter title in our case so it’s those two piece of information you can bet ID and the title class you need to go to the parents manual cover over it then open the customizer when they’re you need to click on additional CSS and then enter the page ID is 38 in our case enter the title class and then enter a simple piece of code you need to open the correct brackets and then you need to enter a piece of code as you can see we don’t give a page that you anymore so this is it for the second method this method is especially useful because it masks the page title it doesn’t delete it so when you go to the back and then you see all of your pages in The List you also see the titles of the pages and it will be easier to navigate to see which page is which

the third method involves using a plug-in play so if you want to install the plug in your go-to plugins cover over it so I can add you will use the title remover plug-in you can search for Route so we already have it installed here if you want to sell it to you can find it and you’ll see the install now and activate button that will appear over here when you do that go to create a new page

and you see on the right hand side the option to hide the title over here so we’ll call this page as a page you can get it that title and save the draft and we’ll look at the preview

and you can see that it has a title now so we can go back we can click on this option save it again click on the picture button again

okay so there are going to be times where we want to hide the titles of different pages on our site super things like our homepage or optin Pages for this example I’m going to be hiding the page title on my homepage as it doesn’t seem to look right or make much sense to enable us to hide page and post titles in WordPress we just need to install a free plug-in so if we visit or dashboard and then click plugins on the left and add new up at the top now I would just need to type the words title remover into the search bar in the top right and then install and activate the plug-in by WP gurus once the plugins being activated we just need to open up the page or post that were wanting to hide the title from and then click added up at the top to open up the a deter know if we screwed on on the right hand side we should see this new section called high title and we just need to check this box

and then update or page or post now I wouldn’t we visit the page

will see that the title is Now hidden but I should just point out that the page titles not completely gone it is just hidden when people search for this page or post in the search engine the peach title still going to show up here
