hi this is Scott from Ynot media Productions and today I’m going to show you how to update a PDF on a WordPress site on one of my WordPress sites out there so the one I’m going to do is on the tryouts page here I already have the new PDF on my desktop so basically all I’m doing is replacing I’m not replacing the content on the page but I’m going to replace the document that this link links to which happens to be a PDF there’s some changes in there that I had made and I’m going to go ahead and update that so what I’m going to do his first time I log into my site and most of my sites you can find a login link somewhere on the site whether it’s down here in the in the sidebar or even you can type in the the website and with a backsplash of admin I’m going to go ahead and click on that

and once that logs and it’ll take us to our WordPress dashboard as you can see here I’ve got some updates to do but we’re going to work on the side here and we don’t need to go to the actual page with that links that cuz all we’re going to change the file the link is going to stay exactly the same so I’m going to go to Media I can either click on Media or you come over here click on library and I’ll click on that and as you can see the link that I want to do first is the very first one up here if not you could search for that link right here and look for that file name wherever that’s at I got a lot of different files in there so you need to know which file you’re actually replacement when a mouse over that you can see that I can edit it and it deleted I can view it or I can replace media so what I want to do is I’m just to replace the media because I have a new file and upload so I’ll click on that

and that will come in I’ll say choose file notes about Rosa so I have to choose a file what I want to do is I want to replace the file I don’t want to change your name because if I change the name then it can get a little bit fuzzy if I have that link somewhere else this says update all the links which it will do but I’m going to replace the file in and just change the name or keep the name exactly the same I’m sorry so I click on upload

and I want to choose file I didn’t choose a file so I’m going to choose a file I’m going to click on and try out tomorrow

and once that sin has the file name and I’m going to pick up load

and you should be okay so now if I went to the actual know if I’m going to collect me to go ahead and click so immediate attachment update it so we’re all good so now you should go to that actual page so that was on the tryouts page so we’re going to go back to it when you go to The Inferno trials page
