and I’m going to give you an idea of what you can
change or customize on the checkout page with literally just the click of a button. Touching any any code so just what the settings page looks like for the week on this check out manager extension and if I scroll down you’ll see there’s the billing section and then we have a shipping section and then there’s a section to add a new custom field or to add multiple new custom fields
listen that we want to change on your billing address this company name field to something else to do that you just going to billing section and find company and then we would go to replace label name I’ll just say we wanted to say business name
and save changes
you’ll see that it was changed to business name so it’s that easy if we wanted to remove that field all together we could do that to buy check in that box save changes and that would remove the business name or the company name field altogether from the new Commerce check out
all right so now that’s gone all right so adding a custom field to the woocommerce checkout is super easy with this extension if you go down to the add new Field section you can see if I fall Dairy have one there for you just to kind of show you how to do it and you can see that you have the option to do a text in put box drop down a date picker or a checkbox let’s say we wanted to just set this as a select options box was it drop down and we want to make it required to have that box checked and we go ahead and save changes and then go ahead and take a look at that looks like out of the sides scroll down
you’ll see under additional information here is our custom field and it’s a drop down so it’s that easy you can add multiple custom Fields with this extension somebody’s quick add new give it a label a placeholder and then select the type of custom field that you want to choose whether it’s required or not you can delete them by clicking on the checkbox right here if you need to do delete custom fields and then I didn’t even touch on the shipping section and obviously you can also customize everything over here for the shipping address info as well that’s all controlled right here so there’s a lot that you can do as far as customer customizing a woocommerce checkout page with this free extension and again the extension is woocommerce checkout manager as you can see it’s a popular plug-in it’s been downloaded over sixteen thousand times and growing each day so I would encourage you if you’re looking to make basic update to the
page to go ahead and install this plug-in stay tuned for the next video on this we’re going to demo the pro version of this plug-in and also check out the full tutorial that we have on customizing woocommerce checkout page out on upload to be p.com thanks for watching us in the next video

Great Plugin and good support Great Plugin and good support when I needed help.
I can recommend Checkout Fields Manager for WooCommerce!
Decent plugin. Dev team needs to consider new ideas for improvement. The plugin does what it says it will do, but from various tickets left with the developer, we have come to the conclusion that there is zero room for improvement on the plugin. Any suggestions or requests for improvements in functionality have been met with a curt reply to the effect of “the plugin doesn’t do this and we won’t consider this request for future upgrades.” This has made it difficult to use and so we won’t be renewing.
An example of issues would be:
⢠There is a limit of 4 images that can be uploaded via the upload field in the plugin. This cannot be changed, though we pointed out the line within the plugin that controls this and it would be simple to increase that number or add a setting field to allow a user to set the max number of images that can be uploaded.
⢠Ability to customize value of field. Currently the label is the same as the value. We asked if it were possible to change this and the initial answer provided was that it wasn’t possible. When we pressed further, the only option is to adjust the code on our own end. We would have liked to see QuadLayers say “thanks for the suggestion. While it’s not possible to accomplish this now, we’ll consider this in future updates.”
In my opinion, the plugin is not being regularly updated and thus these suggestions aren’t being considered for future improvements.
Love this plugin. Just excellent plugin
