Avoid After a year or so of building a website and going live, I decided last minute that we needed to use another plugin. We utilised this plugin as the main feature to run events to the public. It doesn’t update events properly, crashes often, doesn’t save changes and is very unreliable to use. I put so much time into adding events and trying to get it to work but I gave up.
Nice plugin We’re very happy to use this calendar app. Especially the customer service is very helpful.
Excellent, versatile Calendar plugin The timely calendar plugin is fantastic. It is very versatile, even the free version offers a host of pro features (such as calendar imports and theming), it looks slick and itâs very easy to use. Iâve been using it for a couple of years now, and with every iteration/update it gets better.

Good Simple Calendar I tried a few calendar plugins, but I really just needed something simple and straightforward to show the days an event is open.
What I mainly needed was something with a fully customizable look to match a particular design. It was all about the aesthetics.
Timely is definitely the most user friendly and straightforward calendar plugin I’ve tried, without a bunch of unnecessary stuff and with an easy to use interface.

Nope The interaction with the plugin is an absolute disaster, using the worst of the scamming business techniques.
Just zero support even for premium add on I pay for the premium add-on to allow the public to add events. It de-activates randomly, every few weeks.
Trying to get support for this issue is impossible. No one can be bothered to provide support at time.ly, apparently, even if you are a paying annual subscriber (and the price went up last year too).
I wouldn’t recommend going down this road, it’ll be very time-consuming to pull everything back out and start over, which is what I’d LOVE to do at this point.
Beware of bait and switch! $425 fee. We used timely event calendar for years and they recently decided to change it, forced us to move to their “new” platform and now want to charge us $425 a year for the plan we used to pay $179 for. No explanation, no choices, just…oh sorry this is the new platform. We don’t need bells and whistles or extra features to negate an extra $246 a year.
