it will automatically turn that into an emoji some people find this annoying and they don’t want to have that feature it’s actually really easy to turn this off on your desktop version of Discord but it’s a little bit different to do this on your phone so you get started the first thing we need to do is actually open up the browser on her iPhone or Android phone it for me I’ll be using the Firefox browser once you have your browser open go ahead and go to discord.com to check the description of have links down there so if you just want to click that once you have gone to discord.com all we need to do is selecting their login or open Discord
I might ask you to log in once you’re logged in and it kind of looks like the app we want to do is select the user settings so select the gear next to your username
and then in the Westside Bar we’re going to go down and select text and images and then we’re going to turn our phone sideways
and we should see emojis right there now you can see right here it says automatically convert emoticons you select that and then you should be done now when I go back to Discord
and I type an emoticon you can see that it no longer turns it into an emoji turn off auto emojis in Discord mobile either iPhone or Android phone give me questions about this thing to come and look at that you soon as I can you like to see more Discord tutorial videos check the links in the description if this video helped you give it a thumbs up and please consider subscribing to my channel gauging gadgets for Gadget reviews and texit Orioles thank you so much for watching
