but sometimes and WordPress if you’re wanting to change something specific with your website you have all those different files and since you didn’t write the code you don’t know where different strings of code maybe in the website so if you want to change something it seems almost impossible sometimes to find exactly what you’re looking for so this plug-in I finally came across really remember how long it’s been out but I don’t know how I didn’t come across it sooner but it is called Spring locator and of course should be able to go to your plug and stab you in the back and search for string locator and it’s by Cloris or however you say that c l o r i t h
basically let me see how it works once you have it installed and everything was I’m sure you can figure out a do that we go down here to tools is where it shows up and string locator
and then you can choose what you want to search through any specific theme or Plugin you have so say if we just want to search through all of it or say I’m since I’m using the 2013 theme on this one of something

so now it shows us the string and you can see it’s it’s pulled a little bit wish it was a little bit darker but it went through and I found every file basically in the 2013 all the files have to do with that and I found the word WordPress so for example like I said if you’re looking to change something with your website and you want to find a string of code that may have to do with that this is so you can do it and I’ll tell you what lying it’s on even and the specific file of where it’s located so this could definitely come in handy is already came in handy with me and I just got it less than twenty-four hours ago but I guess that’s it for this video please like share subscribe, if you have any questions or suggestions excuse me don’t forget to check out my website ww.w Knox ad. Does the job If you are tired of using F12 to locate one tiny piece of code, this will do the job for you. I wish I had found this years ago.
Simple and functional Great for finding a string or expression, but you’d better use FTP to edit your files because if you type a wrong comma, your WP might stop altogether.
