okay so all we need to do to track our WordPress the tistic is download and install a free plugin so just click on the left hand side where it says plugins and then up at the top click add new knowing the top right in the search bar we’re just going to type w p and then the word statistics
that’s statistics then just hit return on your keyboard to search and it should be this first one called WP statistics just click install noise and then once it’s installed click activate plug-in once the plugins been activated we cannot attract or statistics by clicking on the left hand side where it says statistics
this page is an overview which will show us a summary of all the different statistics and then we can see each of the individual statistics in more detail by clicking the options underneath on the left hand side obviously there’s very little statistics at the minute because we’ve just installed the plug-in but after a few days you’ll start to see more and more statistics showing up here
if we visit or dashboard and screws on
we’ll see we also have this quick stops box which contains some of our statistics
so that’s how you track your statistics or analytics on WordPress I hope you find this video useful and if you have please give it a like and feel free to subscribe to my channel for more WordPress tutorials like this one once again my name is Marty from let’s build wp.com and thank you very much for watching my video
Own IP cannot be excluded Actually a pretty nice statistics program.
But page views from your own IP are counted.
That does not work like this.
So the statistics are just nonsense.
Too bad.
Excellent Statistics Plug-in An excellent statistics plug-in and unlike the Data-Octopus Google Analytics also GDPR compliant.
The inexpensive add-ons complete the range of functions. I recommend the beautifully designed Advanced Reporting Add-on.
Good Stat Recommended
This is a wonderful plugin This is a wonderful plugin, I love using as it gives me at a glance the statistic of what is going on in my website with respect to visitors.
“Missing parameter(s): name” error Just installed the plugin with the latest version of wordpress on Ubuntu 21.04 vm on proxmox, and got “Missing parameter(s): name” error in all statistics fields on the overview page. It’s a very nice tool! Please can anyone help fix this issue…
Defective. Does not work properly. I had almost 30,000 visitors to my website in the last month, due to a campaign I was running. A number that was independently verified by a different plugin. This plugin told me I had 170 page hits. Completely worthless and defective plugin. Don’t bother.
tnx wery good
Records own IP address in stats. Plugin appears to constantly log own IP address in spite of adding it to the exclusions.
This has started happening with the most recent updates. It states under exclusions ‘You can add a list of IP addresses and subnet masks (one per line) to exclude from the statistics collection’ but records multiple IP addresses on each line. There does not seem to be a way to overcome this issue.
Not recording visits This is a pretty awesome plugin, but it’s not accurate. I tested it on one of my sites with the Koko Analytics plugin. The WP Statistics plugin said that my site had 4 visitors yesterday and 6 visitors today, but the Koko Analytics plugin shows I had 12 visitors yesterday and 10 today. That’s a big difference! I was looking for a better plugin than Koko because it doesn’t capture all the traffic on my sites. Unfortunately, this one is even worse. 🙁
Not Working I downloaded this last night, seemed to work for a bit but isn’t working at all this morning, please sort this out!
