the page will look exactly as it does with your other events so fill in the information that you need like event titled description dates and time
keep going down the editor’s screen and you’ll find a section called virtual event click on configure virtual event so if you want to embed the content on your actual event page you want to use one of our WordPress supported sources currently that’s YouTube Facebook and venial and we have a whole list of others I’ll put the link to that in the description box below the option of creating a zoom video conferencing link with this you can actually link over to the livestream event as long as you have your Zuma account connected to the events calendar I have an additional video that will show you how to do that step by step and I’ll put that in the description box below if you add a video Source you’ll see an option to display the embedded video or use a link button or both when you choose the link button you also have an option to change what the button actually says on the label so you can say join now or watch live
the default label is simply watch moving down here you have options on how you will show the content you can either show the video Source or the zoom link right away or hide them until the start of the event if you choose the once the event starts option the video or the zoom link will display 15 minutes before the event starts so that’ll give your titties a chance to join on time if you’re using our free ticket plugins to sell tickets or create RSVPs for your event then you’ll check the include link an RSVP emails this option will actually send a link for your virtual event in the ticket emails that the attendee receives after registering for the event the email that your users receive will look something like this
and finally the virtual event label the options here allow you to display the label on your event and on your calendar views this will allow your visitors to easily see that this is a virtual event I hope that was exciting for you you have set up virtual events now if you really want to integrate with zoom you can do that with your free account or your premium account I have a whole separate video for that process I’ll put the link in the description box below and you have further questions please jump over to our website the events calendar. Calm and we have an entire knowledge base there for you where you can find great articles and support hope you’re having a great one see y’all next time
Has WPML issues Has WPML issues. Many hours wasted on support and tinkering.
Excellent plugin Merci
Support doesn’t work Plugin works, bought PRO version and few addons. An issue appeared with site in German, urls for tags, venues, etc. lead to 404. Wrote to their support – no answer for 2+ weeks. Luckily I’ve fixed the issue by myself recently.
Gran plugin muy fiable Lo llevo usando desde hace años, sin problemas, gran trabajo!
i miss the following Hallo,
I have installed the free version and miss the following:
You have to be able to enter cities first – so that you can also enter several events in one city, and then assign the venues like city hall, pub etc. to the cities. Of course, the search must then also be possible for places (cities) … I see that this is not possible?
Cu Dino…
working great Support was helpful and solved the problem (of my own making).
A great WP plugin it is a simple, effective plugin with a great outlook!
Buy TEC if you have a high pain threshold My experience with TEC, buying the PRO version and numerous paid plugins has been truly horrible thus far.
Support? Fat chance. You’ll wait days for insufficient responses if you’re lucky enough to get them to pay attention at all.
If you need a basic event calendar with zero frills, hey great. Maybe use the free version.
I’m trying to use TEC for the purpose intended with a quality feature set and paid plugins.
Isn’t an active paying customer what TEC wants in its sphere?
Apparently not.
We’re not newbies or ornery Karens looking for reasons to complain.
We are legit customers who were given the impression TEC is a serious company.
We’re trying to get a functional project underway and TEC is responding like what you would expect from a fly-by-night grifter on CodeCanyon.
I have no choice but to find a genuine programmer to expedite what we need.
“The Events Calendar” is awash in problems, the least of which is slow performance with a code crash rate which would give them Nascar pole position.
Whoever acquired TEC better do some soul searching, and fast.
They’re either a competitive, client-focused vendor or another purveyor of garbage code insufficient for actual businesses.
It’s their choice what they want to be.
This happens to code firms all the time. A product reaches a certain plateau where the company loses sight of the individual customers which built their enterprise.
If their product worked and they had anything that smelled like active support, I’d pay 10x their retail price for the product.
As it stands, The Events Calendar ownership is squandering the brand’s years of goodwill by deploying arrogance, grindingly slow support and hack code as their fresh, new product line.
It’s all gross and I am sad to have to write this as a dead serious cautionary tale.
The Events Calendar, today, is for low demand hobbyists and not to be taken seriously.
You’ve been warned. If you buy TEC before they change their ways from top to bottom, you’ll be happy if you need very little and very sad if your project places any performance demand on TEC’s code or staff in any way.
Heaven help you if you rely on this code or the people behind it for anything which looks like a business project.
Excellent plugin! Thank you! Thank you for making this free with the option to upgrade. It’s pretty awesome and works well for several of my clients!
Excellent Support – URL Links problem fixed Thank you for your help in solving the problem I had with the URL links.
I find that you always have a quick response to my problems.
Thank you.
